Hi, I'm Abi Oakes-Dean
I am driven by caring for others!
For those of you who don't have the pleasure of knowing me already, I’m Abi and I am 25 (living in Binfield - Berkshire). In my spare time I love to go on long walks with my partner and Alsation, and attend my voluntary role as a dog training assistant at Puppy School/Confidant Happy Canines/The Little Dog Trainer - which I do at least two times a week. I also have a flare for creative activities such as drawing, pottery/oil painting, and digital artwork. And I find this a great form of relaxation for me as it is a reliable way to switch off and be present in our busy lives. I also attend fitness classes and regularly exercise, as well as walking. Being an active person, I prefer to be in the go, and making the most of my day.
I left my full time job in Operations and Communications at Fujitsu, working in the Service Sector. After working there for 5 years and gaining a wealth of knowledge from various aspects of the business (Service Transition, Service Delivery, Recruitment, Communications, Operations & voluntary CSR work), I felt it was time to follow my passion in working with animals. I am a very caring individual and spend most of my days thinking of how I can support my direct community and wider. At Fujitsu, I volunteered as an Environment Ambassador and a Business In The Community Ambassador. Both looking at ways in which Fujitsu as a global leading business, can give back to its local community. Working with Schools and various companies to support great causes. These are just some of the examples to show you I've always loved giving back to others, and passionate about our futures. Caring for animals has always brought me such joy, and I couldn't think of anything better to do... than be trusted to care for your gorgeous pets! I am always at my happiest, when doing things for others and will do anything to make someone smile.
